Group Coverage: Low Rates/Guarantee Issue
If you can’t qualify for the kind of comprehensive health care you and your
family deserve due to a pre-existing condition or skyrocketing costs, you are
not alone. The lack of coverage options for the self-employed and others without
adequate medical benefits is a serious problem for many of us. OREP now offers
two solutions for your consideration.
California
Plans
California
residents qualify for programs offered
through Kaiser
Permanente, Allied National, PacifiCare, and United Healthcare. These plans
are available to real estate professionals on a guaranteed issue basis.
The program is offered
through OREP (membership not required at this time).
Eligibility
requires
membership/affiliate
status in a
real estate association/board. Kaiser Permanente offers eleven plans
including the new Tax Advantaged Health Savings Account Plans. PacifiCare
offers two PPO Plans and three HMOs and United Healthcare brings us two
additional PPO Plans. Allied National offers four Limited Benefit PPO Plans
that offer highly affordable first dollar coverage including doctor office
visits, emergency room visits and prescription drugs. Kaiser, Allied
National, PacifiCare and United Healthcare are available to California
residents only through OREP (OREP membership not required). Please email
info@orep.org with medical benefits in the subject along with your name,
location, and phone number in the body of the email. A qualified agent will
call to go over the options.
Coverage
Nationwide
Many different
coverage plans are available in most states, including a PPO
plan, Health Savings Accounts, Life, Dental, Vision,
Disability and Long Term Care.
